Some International school students back to school starting this week

Lots of international schools’ students are back to school this week after they have been away from campus for four months. Some parents are glad that their children can be  back to school again and knowing the schools have been taking great safety measures to help protect their children on campus. In this week, international schools have become the first to allow students back on campus due to their different curriculums, as for local schools they would resume classes next week.

In Hong Kong, there are about fifty- three international schools and private school granted permission to allow back for resume classes.  As for the remaining international schools and their students, they would resume class next week. Education Bureau suggests for half-day school to minimize the contacts between students, especially during lunch breaks.

However, some international schools are permitted to have full-day classes. They are required to have special arrangements for lunch and offer flexibility for breaks. Schools take responsibility and effort to make sure sanitary safety on campus.  For parents who worry about the risk of their children going back to schools, some international schools would allow parents to keep their children at home and provide help to those students.

Students are required to maintain the social distancing rules and for hygiene, they also share their learning at home experience. For students that go back on campus, they need to declare their health and travel history and check their temperature regularly.

As to how students think of being back to school again, some are excited that they can finally get to meet their classmates and love to back to school again with had been distanced for months.
