Schools resume classes this week & International School give elderly protective gears

Start from Wednesday (May 27) this week, lots of schools in Hong Kong resume classes, and students are back on campus. According to Education Bureau, most schools have done great measures of preparation for resume classes. It measures visitors' and students’ temperatures before they enter the campus, they make sure there are enough space around classroom, and to maintain social distance of students, even for activities.  Parents would prepare masks for their children, and make sure to record their children's temperature on the form. The schools and parents work well together to create a joyful and safe environment for the students.

During this COVID period, there are lots of people show kindness to people in need and give out protective gear. Students from German Swiss International School worked with the organization Community Engagement Learning and Living to start a charity event named Project Care, which they give out over 200 protective gear packages to elderly in Wan Chai and Pok Fu Lam. In each individual package, there are hand sanitizer, wet wipes, mask, hand soap, disinfectants, rice, and canned food.

The Chairman and principle of German Swiss International School support students’ actions to contribute to the society. It shows students care for the school, the city they live in, and the community. Students participle in this charity event were glad to have the opportunity to help with great causes.
